The littleBits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit is a Star Wars themed circuitry and programming kit for building and designing the R2 Unit designed for children with neurological disabilities to encourage logic, critical-thinking skills, creativity, innovation, planning and problem-solving. Everything needed to build is included. Follow in-app, step-by-step instructions to easily assemble basic Droid. Challenges inventor skills by creating new custom configurations. Using the littleBits electronic circuitry blocks plus the free-to-download Droid Inventor app, you can teach your own R2 Unit loads of fun tricks and even send it on over 16 exciting missions. Users can set it to Force™ Drive mode to send the Droid rolling with nothing but a wave of a hand. Set it to Self-Nav mode to see it detect obstacles and maneuver around them all on its own. Record a secret message and then have it delivered by the Droid to someone in another room. Also features a Draw Mode where users can program their Droid to draw out maps and messages. Users can use parts from other littleBits sets to launch their Droid into a whole new galaxy of invention possibilities.
