The APM-8000 Therapy Pump Air Loss Mattress System is an air flotation mattress designed for use by individuals with circulatory disabilities or pressure sores or ulcers. The complete set is waterproof. The nylon and tpu materials have a ventilitation effect, which relaxes pressure caused by muscle tenderness. The pump includes an illuminated on/off switch;a low pressure, air loss light; and a hook for attachment to the bed. The air output is 4.5 liters at 115 volts, and five to six liters at 230 volts. The cycle time is eight minutes at 60 Hertz (Hz) and 10 minutes at 50 Hz. The removable quilted-top mattress cover encapsulates the entire mattress. The mattress is equipped with a CPR valve which, when pulled, releases the air from the mattress in approximately 20 seconds, making CPR easier and safer in the event of an emergency. The mattress has 20 flotation air cells and individual cells can be replaced if damaged. Internal air helps maintain proper cell positioning and support. The pressure can be adjusted according to the user's weight. There are eight ventilated bladder cells, which have two small laser holes for air loss, giving the individual a dry and comfortable feeling. To provide support for the individual, the three tubes at the head section do not alternate. All other tubes alternate waves. Alternative pressure relief massages the skin while continuously changing contact points with the skin's surface to provide ultra low pressure to cover 50 percent of the surface area. The pressure range is 50 mmhg to 50 mmhg. POWER: 115 volt/60 Hz or 230 volt/50 Hz. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): Pump is 3 7/8 x 10 x 5 1/8.
