• Eligibility Requirements:Must be a victim of a qualifying crime involving physical injury, threat of physical injury or death. For certain crimes, emotional injury is enough to qualify. Family members and loved ones who suffer an economic loss from an injury to, or death of, a victim of a crime may also be eligible for compensation.. Call for details/more information. Applications can be requested by phone, email, and mail. Applications can also be downloaded or submitted directly online. For faster processing the following must be submitted, complete every section of the application possible, include copies of crime reports, bills, receipts and other related documents with the application, send crime-related bills to the insurance company, workers' compensation carrier or Medi-Cal.
