Home Start | Bilingual Parenting Education

Provides free parenting classes using the STEP curriculum (Systematic Training for Effective Parenting) specifically designed to help raise confident, cooperative, responsible children and form strong, lifelong family relationships. Topics include: understanding self and child, age appropriate expectations, communication and listening skills, encouraging children, helping children cooperate and discipline that works. A certificate is awarded upon completion of the course. Classes meet Welfare and Institution Code.
