Provides advocacy for victims of domestic violence, and any other crime. Has a complete program for international victims of Human Trafficking which includes legal immigration services (DACA, VAWA, T VISA, U VISA, Green Card), help finding safe housing (emergency shelter, safe living, etc.) for victims, help with personal safety plans, victims compensation application process, safe at home confidential address, and help filling out forms for family law services including divorce and child support. Also provides referrals to other departments within La Maestra's Circle of Care depending on patient's needs. Also assists with social service application assistance for Medi-Cal, covered california, cal-fresh, cal-works, medi-cal annual renewals, cal-fresh re-determination reports, other social services.
