Works with families to meet immediate emergency needs with available resources and/or through referrals to partner agencies. Additional services are provided to the clients who agree to set a plan of work to achieve goals. Others services include: assessment of family needs, linkage and referrals to needed services, emergency food, health insurance application assistance for children and pregnant women, food Cal Fresh pre-screening, coordinate adult education classes including English as a second language classes (ESL), and parenting classes at several Family Resource Center locations. Classes vary by semester. Also, offers employment assistance and support.

8:00 am-4:00 pm Monday-Friday

Other Requirements:Eligibility: Limited to residents of Chula Vista or families with children attending schools in the Chula Vista Elementary School District or the Sweetwater Union High School District.
