Aurora Behavioral Health Care | Assessment and Resource Center

Provides a free half-hour mental health assessment to anyone in need. Assessment includes recommendations for treatment and referrals for care. Also offers a free 24-hour psychiatric emergency team to assist residential care facilities, nursing homes, and local mental health agencies in conducting on-site needs assessments and evaluations. Team is designated by the San Diego County Department of Mental Health to evaluate and initiate involuntary psychiatric holds.
