• Eligibility Requirements:Must meet the following guidelines: 1. Adults 18 years and older 2. Must be a resident of San Diego County 3. Must have a serious and persistent mental illness 4. Uninsured, under-insured, medi-cal recipients. Medicare/Medi-Cal Card;Proof of identification. 1. Walk-ins are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Hours may vary depending on provider availability. 2. Whenever possible, call in advance to arrange an appointment. 3. All clients are screened to determine service needs. 4. Clients who are eligible for services receive a mental health assessment, psychiatric evaluation, and time-limited services at the clinic. 5. Clients who are not eligible for services at the clinics are referred to community resources appropriate to their needs.
