The Documentation Department issues Mexican passports and the Matricula Consular (Consular ID), which is an acceptable form of identification for some local authorities in the United States. This department also issues visas for tourists, students, and businessmen. Provides information to citizens of Mexico and people traveling, studying or conducting business in Mexico. Provides information about the Paisano Program for Mexican citizens living abroad who are traveling in Mexico.
