Project on Youth and Non-Military Opportunities

Provides information, educational presentations, and literature for young people on non-military opportunities for career and educational development. Endeavors to make youth aware of the problems and pitfalls of military enlistment and gives them tips on how to protect themselves from recruiter fraud. Services include free literature, classroom presentations by veterans who contrast their personal experiences with the images portrayed in recruitment advertising and referrals for counseling. Career fair displays are also offered.
