Provides free library services and materials ,by mail, to people who cannot get to a library or bookmobile due to a disability, lack of transportation, or that lie in a remote area. All postage is prepaid both ways. Material available include books, magazines, audio books (CDs and cassettes). At this time it is not possible to check out DVDs, videos, newspapers, or interlibrary loan materials.

Elle - Disappointed in this program.

Since restarting after Covid, I find the staff of the books by mail program to be significantly less helpful and even somewhat condescending. Very disappointing, as many of us rely on this program!
