Criminal courts have jurisdiction over misdemeanor and felony cases. Criminal courts conduct arraignments, criminal readiness, preliminary hearings, trials, motions, sentencing, probation hearings, and mental health proceedings. Criminal cases in San Diego County are heard in the Central, East County, North County, and South County courthouses.

Go to assigned court location and assigned time. 2. Must bring the following information: case number, copy of citation, courtesy notice (appearance letter), receipts, bail bond, cash bail, jail release papers. 3.
